Product image for Equine Acupoint Classifications

Equine Acupoint Classifications

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupressure points are categorized by how they can best be used to rebalance Chi within the body. TCM uses theoretical concepts which group acupoints based on their similarity of actions and relationships. Acupoint Classifications are considered the “Chinese Medicine Bag” because they provide the “tools” to create an appropriate session plan for each individual animal. When combined, the theoretical nature of Acupoint Classifications along with the indicators and Patterns of Disharmony observed, the practitioner has ability to select the most effective acupoints to use for an acupressure session.
